Community Guidelines
A few simple principles so everyone — and every dog — has a good time here.
Be kind
Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, personal attacks, pile-ons or discrimination of any kind.
Put welfare first
Never share content that shows or encourages cruelty, neglect or illegal activity. If you're worried about a dog's welfare, contact the RSPCA (England and Wales), the Scottish SPCA, the USPCA (Northern Ireland) or the police.
Share experience, not prescriptions
Advice about health, food and behaviour should be offered as personal experience. For anything medical, a qualified vet is the right person to ask.
No selling or spam
Don't use Dogfolk to advertise, sell puppies or animals, or promote products you're paid to promote.
Respect privacy
Don't share other people's personal details, addresses or photos without permission.
Reporting and blocking
Use the menu on any post, comment or profile to report it or block someone. Reports are private and reviewed by our moderators, who may remove content or accounts that break these guidelines.
