Victorian House has a limited number of dog-friendly rooms that must be booked directly. A flat £25 fee is added to a dog-friendly room booking. Dogs must not be left unattended; arriving with a dog without an eligible pre-booked room attracts a £50 charge, and unattended dogs may lead to charges of up to £200. Dog rooms have hard flooring, direct outdoor access and use of a warm outside tap for muddy paws. Breakfast is included. Current official guidance says on-site parking is limited and first come, first served, with chargeable public parking around 50 metres away. From Broadgate, guests can walk through Grasmere village towards the lake, Allan Bank, Easedale Tarn, Helm Crag, Silver How and Loughrigg. Confirm room availability and the number of dogs before paying.
