About
Very Important Pets publishes host-home boarding at £45 per day for one dog, £35 for each additional dog, or £50 for a puppy under seven months. Ordinary boarding is charged by day, with a two-day minimum for a one-night stay. A separate introductory trial costs £50 for an overnight stay from 4pm until 11am, including two twenty-minute walks. The agency matches a sitter to your dog and arranges a meeting to discuss routine, medication, other pets and children before you decide. Customer-home live-in care is separately priced from £60 per day for one dog. Bank holidays cost one-and-a-half times the normal rate; Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day cost double. Travel, parking, congestion and applicable key-collection expenses are extra. Agency charges become non-refundable once the booking is confirmed. Host addresses are established during matching.
Listings are added by businesses and members, or compiled from public information. Before publication, moderators review basic details and content suitability; this is not a professional endorsement or verification. Claimed listings can be managed by an approved business member, while unclaimed listings haven't been confirmed by the business. A "Verified" label appears only where Dogfolk has granted that separate status. Inclusion in the Dogfolk directory is not an endorsement. "Featured" and "Sponsored" placements are paid or promotional and are always labelled. Community discussion on Dogfolk is independent of advertisers.
