Keep dogs on short leads in the garden, Mill Yard, Styal village and main visitor areas, and under close control on wider estate walks. Dogs on short leads may visit the Upper Garden Café, Visitor Reception and selected shops. Pet dogs cannot enter the Mill, Quarry Bank House, Apprentice House, Workers' Cottage or Weaving Shed Restaurant. Follow local signs and staff advice for other indoor areas. The operator’s dog page contradicts itself about Village Hub admission, listing it both as dog-friendly and assistance-dogs-only; ask staff before entering. Water bowls are available around the Mill Yard, Upper Garden Café and Visitor Reception. Waste bins are opposite Visitor Reception and on the Apprentice Path out of the car park. Follow the signed visitor car park rather than Styal village.
