Formal gardens, the main café, mansion, second-hand bookshop and some pleasure-ground areas admit assistance dogs only. Follow the signed dog zones and the operator’s dog-walking map, and keep dogs on leads around livestock. Water bowls are outside the coffee shop and café; waste bins are in the car park, near Golf Course Field and by the water tower in the pleasure grounds. The car park has little shade. Directions use the full listed address; the National Trust separately recommends KT23 4PZ for satnav because the postal postcode can mislead devices. Parking is £5 all day for non-members; members must scan their cards. Check current opening times before visiting.
