Petworth House and Park is a National Trust visitor destination at Petworth, West Sussex GU28 9LR. Dogs are welcome on the Pleasure Garden paths on short leads and in the Deer Park under close control; the operator allows dogs off lead in the Deer Park only with close supervision and reliable recall, including during fawn season. Assistance dogs only are permitted in Petworth House, the Servants’ Quarters and café. Water bowls, dog bins and spare waste bags at reception points are available. The main visitor car park is on the A283, signposted Petworth House, using GU28 9LR; the separate north Deer Park car park uses GU28 9LS. Published parking is £4 for the main car park or £3 for the north car park for non-members; members must validate their parking. Check current opening times before travelling, as the park has some later openings through 27 November 2026.
