Dogs on short leads are welcome through most of the garden and in the Coach House café; assistance dogs only in the house, gallery, Old Kitchen café, walled garden and formal lawns. Dogs must not swim or paddle in the river or streams. Water bowls and dog-waste bins are provided, and the site has an on-lead dog paddock. General visits do not require pre-booking.
