Lyme is a National Trust estate at Disley, Stockport, Cheshire SK12 2NR, with 1,400 acres of parkland, moorland, woodland and formal gardens. Dogs are welcome in the park and gardens on short leads. Knightslow Wood provides year-round off-lead walking, with other areas changing seasonally; follow signs and use short leads around livestock and deer. Dogs may use the top half of the Ale Cellar, space permitting, the Muddy Paws Engine House seating and Timber Yard Shop. Only assistance dogs may enter the house, Timber Yard Café and Hall Shop. Clear up dog waste and take filled bags home if no bin is nearby.
