About
Grosvenor Park is a Grade II* registered Victorian park near Chester city centre and the River Dee, with lawns, formal gardens, restored paths, a pond and a rose garden by St John's entrance. Keep dogs on a lead no longer than two metres and obey signs excluding dogs from enclosed play areas. Carry bags and clear up after your dog. The council publishes opening hours of 8am–8pm from 1 May and 8am–6pm from 1 November; events may alter these times. There is no on-site parking. Paths are surfaced, but gradients—especially towards the south—can be difficult for wheelchair and pushchair users. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available. The Meadows lies across the river for a longer outing.
Listings are added by businesses and members, or compiled from public information. Before publication, moderators review basic details and content suitability; this is not a professional endorsement or verification. Claimed listings can be managed by an approved business member, while unclaimed listings haven't been confirmed by the business. A "Verified" label appears only where Dogfolk has granted that separate status. Inclusion in the Dogfolk directory is not an endorsement. "Featured" and "Sponsored" placements are paid or promotional and are always labelled. Community discussion on Dogfolk is independent of advertisers.
