Glen Rothay welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs in its Bluebell, Otter, Woodland, Daffodil and Heron rooms. The current official charge is £15 per dog per night, and dogs may join guests in most bar and public areas. The pet rooms sit in cottages or former coach-house buildings in the grounds; several have their own outside entrance, useful for early and late walks. Breakfast is included for human guests. One private parking space is provided per room. Rydal Water is close by, the Loughrigg Terrace route starts from the doorstep, and walks continue towards Grasmere, Loughrigg Fell and Ambleside. Add dogs during the official booking process and select an eligible named room.
