About
Peter Hills runs small-group outings with his miniature schnauzer Ned, exploring places such as Hackney Marshes, Wanstead Park and the Lea Valley. The published morning/afternoon outing is £25 with collection and return included. The FAQ gives approximate collection/return windows of 9am–12:30pm or 1pm–4:30pm; these include travel, so confirm actual walking time. Groups are usually no more than four including Ned, occasionally five. Each dog wears a Tractive GPS tracker. Dogs need basic commands, reliable recall, sociability, comfort travelling in a vehicle and the ability to manage an hour’s walking. Aggressive or reactive dogs cannot join groups. An initial meeting and assessment precedes regular walks. Monthly invoices are issued on the 23rd, due by the 30th. The operator states that he is insured, enhanced DBS checked and first-aid trained.
Listings are added by businesses and members, or compiled from public information. Before publication, moderators review basic details and content suitability; this is not a professional endorsement or verification. Claimed listings can be managed by an approved business member, while unclaimed listings haven't been confirmed by the business. A "Verified" label appears only where Dogfolk has granted that separate status. Inclusion in the Dogfolk directory is not an endorsement. "Featured" and "Sponsored" placements are paid or promotional and are always labelled. Community discussion on Dogfolk is independent of advertisers.
