Daffodil Hotel & Spa has a limited number of dog-friendly guest rooms and accepts up to two dogs per room. The current official charge is £25 per dog per evening. Dogs may use selected guest bedrooms, reception, the lounge, reception bar and hotel grounds, but are not allowed in the Dining Room. Guests wishing to eat with a dog can use the Lounge or the Terrace in summer. Dogs should remain on leads in public areas and grounds, stay off furniture and keep noise down; the hotel advises against leaving them alone in bedrooms. The level tarmac car park is at the hotel entrance and the hotel provides EV chargers. From the lakeside location, routes include Grasmere shore, Rydal Cave (about a 30-minute walk), Loughrigg Fell, Helm Crag, Alcock Tarn, Silver How and Easedale Tarn.
