About

Countess of Chester Country Park has meadows, woodland, wetland habitats and sculpture trails. The Land Trust describes five self-guided routes with downloadable leaflets and maps, plus leaflets at the Rangers Cabin. Well-controlled dogs are welcome; good recall is required before allowing them off lead. Dogs must be on lead beside water bodies to protect wildlife and banks. Dog-waste bins are provided. The park has open access, predominantly level surfaced paths and kissing gates. There are no on-site toilets or children's play area. The Little Owl pub is about five minutes from the car park. The small NHS-managed car park is accessed from Countess Way (A5480). The operator currently publishes £1 for two hours Monday–Friday, with free parking in evenings, at weekends and for Blue Badge holders; check signs on arrival. There are two Blue Badge bays. The listed phone and email are Land Trust general enquiries.

Listings are added by businesses and members, or compiled from public information. Before publication, moderators review basic details and content suitability; this is not a professional endorsement or verification. Claimed listings can be managed by an approved business member, while unclaimed listings haven't been confirmed by the business. A "Verified" label appears only where Dogfolk has granted that separate status. Inclusion in the Dogfolk directory is not an endorsement. "Featured" and "Sponsored" placements are paid or promotional and are always labelled. Community discussion on Dogfolk is independent of advertisers.
